Beyoncé is a true Virgo at heart. The Grammy Award-winner celebrated her 42nd birthday doing what she does best: performing on stage. Celebrities showed up and showed out to honor the singer, but none more spectacularly than Diana Ross, who graced the stage with her presence and sang “Happy Birthday” to Queen Bey.

According to Billboard, the final performance of Beyoncé’s three-night stint at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium Monday night did not disappoint. Viral clips of the performance show Ross walking on stage after 11 p.m. in a black sequin gown that complimented the “Break My Soul” singer’s silver set.

The crowd roared after she shouted, “Hello, LA!”

The former Supremes member sang her love song “Love Hangover” before Beyoncé ran on stage to greet her, Hello Beautiful reported. Ross then led the audience in a rendition of “Happy Birthday” while holding the Houston native’s hand. The surprise performance had Queen Bey beaming.

Following Ross’ onstage appearance, Beyoncé shared how much the “I’m Coming Out” singer means to her.

“Thank you so much,” she said, according to Hello Beautiful. “You are so amazing. This is the legendary Diana Ross. I would not be me without you. Thank you so much for all of your sacrifice, your beauty and your grace. Thank you for opening the doors for me.”

In an emotional speech to the crowd, Beyoncé also thanked her family, including JAY-Z, their children, and Tina Knowles for their love and support. She shouted out Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and many fans hope this means a Destiny’s Child reunion is right around the corner.

“My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry,” she said, The Hollywood Reporter reported. “I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces. I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music, which then heals all of you.”

As Blavity previously reported, Ross was one of many celebrities who attended Beyoncé’s Los Angeles performances.

Kendrick Lamar performed, and stars including Kerry Washington, Meghan Markle, Zendaya, Normani, Brandy, Adele, Lizzo, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Kim and Khloé Kardashian and Chris Rock were spotted in attendance.
