It's always good to remember that behind the glamour of celebrity, lies the vulnerability of humanity. Fans were reminded of that fact when comedian Leslie Jones posted a very heartfelt message on Twitter during a workout session on Tuesday, via Buzzfeed.

"Ok back to cardio. But confession I feel like I’m doing it for nothing," wrote Jones. "I know it not I’m healthy and look good but I really feel like “what’s it all for” if the people you want to notice don’t. I just feel like I might die alone. Sorry that’s pretty heavy today!!"

Of course, Jones is mostly known for bringing the world joy with her dramatic style humor, but she is also human. With the Twitter message, she opened up her heart in a way that was commendable and also, relatable.

After she posted the caption, Black Twitter got into formation to offer words of encouragement and support.

Take care of your body now and
It'll take care of you later. Don't matter if other people don't see it. You'll feel good when YOU see it. AND feel it. #ChinUp

It wasn't just fans supporting Leslie during her time of need. Actress Meagan Good left some encouraging words that we all needed to hear.

Fans similarly rallied around the comedian with the #LoveForLeslie after Jones received a barrage of racist attacks on social media as she shone during 2016's Ghostbusters promotion.

You are not alone, Leslie Jones! Bring it in on in for a hug.
