Solange Knowles celebrated her 37th birthday on June 24. To commemorate her special day, the multi-hyphenate shared an Instagram slideshow featuring some special moments with her inner circle.
The creative director thanked some of the women in her life who have impacted her. She showed her gratitude with a post on Instagram that featured multiple videos from her camera roll that included her iconic big sister Beyoncé, family, friends and work partners.
The post began with a video of Solange dancing in the street with a friend and having a carefree time when some more friends pulled up in a white SUV hyping the “Crush” singer up. Other slides included her on the back of a jet ski with sister Beyoncé, and there were also video clips of her and her friends singing their hearts out to Keyshia Cole‘s “Love” and her showing off more dance moves with her 6-year-old niece Rumi. She tied it all together with a caption summarizing her love for everyone that she included, and she shared her birthday wish for her next trip around the sun.
“S/o all the black women who lift me up and bring me joy every day!” her post began. “All I want for my birthday is to give gratitude that God chose me to be black and woman, and to bump Yes Sirrr like 4, 5 times in a hot tub w my frennnns…I love yallllllll”

Beyoncé is currently on the road for her Renaissance World Tour but wanted to make sure her little sister felt the love even though they were apart. During a recent concert, she asked for the crowd’s participation to wish Solange a happy birthday.
“Everybody on the count of three, say ‘Happy Birthday, Solange,'” the “Cuff It” singer told the crowd, who erupted with birthday love before she sealed the sweet gesture with, “I love you!”

A couple weeks ago, Solange launched her new glassware line through her partnership with whiskey brand Crown Royal.
