2012 London Short Film Festival: "Of Mary", "Radio Amina", And Others To Be Screened (Jan. 6 - 15)

nullThe 2012 London Short Film Festival opens tomorrow, Jan. 6, and runs until Jan. 15.  On Sunday, Jan. 8, actor Adrian Lester will be in attendance for a Q&A session at The Ritzy in Brixton, after the 8PM screening of his directorial debut, Of Mary.

nullOf Mary is included in the LSFF film showcase titled "Not The Skin I Live In: Black and Asian Stories".

Starring in Of Mary is relative newcomer and rising talent Kehinde Fadipe.  Some may know Fadipe from her acclaimed performances in the stage productions Ruined and Fanta Orange.  Many more will recognize her as the character Melissa from series 3 of E4 dramedy Misfits.

Co-written by Adrian Lester and James Strong, Of Mary tells the story of "Jason Lawrence (Tom Brooke), as he returns home to his estranged wife and son, and how bitter resentment means there is more distance between them than he thought."
