Film-lovers can rejoice thanks to A24! According to IndieWire, the indie production company is releasing 72 of its films for free on streaming platform Kanopy.

IndieWire quoted itself when it called Kanopy “the great hidden gem of the streaming world,” and it can especially live up to that praise since so many of A24’s best films are now readily available to the public.

Films within Kanopy’s acquisition include Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight, starring Trevante Rhodes and André Holland, Morris from America, starring Craig Robinson and Markees Christmas, Barely Lethal starring Samuel L. Jackson and Hailee Steinfeld, It Comes At Night, starring Joel Edgerton, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Carmen Ejogo, and the recently-released Slice, starring Chance the Rapper and Zazie Beetz.

Offering films to the public for free is part of Kanopy’s core mission. “We stream thoughtful entertainment to your preferred device with no fees and no commercials by partnering with public libraries and universities,” its website states. “Everyone from film scholars to casual viewers will discover remarkable and enriching films on Kanopy.” You can use your library card to log in and watch tons of films in Kanopy’s catalog.
