2018 Golden Globe nominees: Not as diverse, but still representative

December 11th 2017

The 75th Annual Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning by Alfre Woodard, along with Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Bell, and Sharon Stone, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The nominees aren’t quite as diverse as last year, but there is still quite a bit of representation.

Below is the complete list of nominees, with talent of African descent, or films and TV shows that feature talent of African descent in major roles (in front of, and/or behind the camera), highlighted in red.

The awards show will take place on Sunday, January 7 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. It will be hosted by comedian Seth Meyers, and broadcasted on NBC.
