'A Bad Trip': New Horror Short From Tananarive Due Reminds You To Stay At Home

In the midst of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, acclaimed horror writer Tananarive Due has released an animated horror short that doubles as a PSA to stay at home.

Titled A Bad Trip, the short, which clocks in at just under 2 minutes, follows a Black woman who walks around an abandoned airport.

She searches several spots around the airport, such as a cafe and clothing store, to find if other people are around. However, she comes up short. The woman eventually comes across a fax machine that prints a piece of paper with the words "GO HOME" on it before the lights shut off. She eventually gets the hint and drives home.

Tananarive Due is the executive producer of the acclaimed Shudder documentary Horror Noire. She's also the author of acclaimed horror novels such as My Soul To Keep and The Good House. Additionally, Due co-wrote an upcoming episode for season 2 of Jordan Peele's The Twilight Zone. The episode will star Damon Wayans Jr. and Paula Newsome.
