Bounce TV’s latest sitcom, Act Your Age, starring Kim Whitley, Tisha Campbell and Yvette Nicole Brown, has broken the network’s records in viewership.

Bounce announced that Act Your Age‘s two-episode premiere has been watched by 2.14 million people, making it Bounce’s most watched series launch in the network’s history.

The series is comprised of 16 episodes, with the first eight episodes airing weekly Saturday nights throughout the spring. The second batch of eight episodes will air this summer. The series focuses on three D.C./Northern Virginia-area women in their 50s who are, according to the description, “each at a personal crossroads and who decide the best way forward in life is together.” Kym Whitley and Tisha Campbell star, with Yvette Nicole Brown guest-starring.

Whitley’s character Bernadette is described as “a successful, no-nonsense real estate developer,” and Campbell’s character Keisha is “the wild card of the group who is always up to something.” Brown’s character Angela is “the former First Lady of Norfolk, Virginia, who is looking to redefine her life after being widowed by her husband, a revered career politician.” Mariah Robinson also stars as Angela’s daughter. Nathan Anderson stars as Bernadette’s son.

The series was created by Alyson Fouse (Big Shot, Everybody Hates Chris, The Wanda Sykes Show) and serves as showrunner and executive producer. MGM Television produces with Bradley Gardner (Hot in Cleveland), Barry Poznick and David Hudson executive producing. Kein Ornstein (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Ranada Shepard co-executive produce.
