Let’s Stay Together star Bert Belasco has died. He was 38 years old.

Belasco’s body was found Sunday in a hotel room in Virginia. His father said Belasco was quarantined at the hotel for a new project. No cause of death has been given as of yet, with Belasco’s family waiting for autopsy results.

Belasco starred as Charles Whitmore, one half of the couple central to Let’s Stay Together, which aired on BET. Charles and his fiance Stacy (Nadine Ellis) traversed the bumpy, but rewarding road of coupledom and marriage as the series progressed from 2011 to 2014, when the series was canceled.

Belasco has also been featured on I’m Dying Up Here, Justified, Pitch, Key & Peele, NCIS: New Orleans, The Mick, Superstore, American Princess, and The Big Show Show.

Belasco’s last projects included film For Prophet, which is in post-production, and short Paralyzed, which is in pre-production.
