The reunion That’s So Raven fans have been asking about for years is happening. Reprising her role of Alana from That’s So Raven, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton is joining season 5 of Raven’s Home on Disney Channel.
She’ll be a recurring cast member in season 5, which is a soft reboot of sorts with the show switching locations from Chicago to San Francisco and Raven-Symone and Issac Ryan Brown (Booker) being the only two to make the move.
Bailon-Houghton’s Alana is now the principal at Bayside High, “which Booker now attends, and when she crosses paths with Raven, sparks are sure to fly.”
In season 5 of the show,
Raven and Booker “move back to San Francisco to help take care of her dad after a mild heart attack. Now Raven finds herself parenting her parent, raising her young cousin and settling into life in her old hometown. Meanwhile, Booker is ‘the new kid’ at Raven’s old high school and has to keep his visions a secret from a new group of friends.
Original series star Rondell Sheridan is one of the new series regulars, as well as mixed-ish‘s Mykal-Michelle Harris as Raven’s cousin Alice, Emmy Liu-Wang as Alice’s babysitter Ivy and Felix Avitia as play Booker’s new classmate and neighbor Neil. Original Raven’s Home stars Anneliese van der Pol, Navia Robinson, Jayson Maybaum and Sky Katz will not be back.
The new season does not have a premiere date yet.
