Djimon Hounsou co-stars with Norman Reedus ("The Walking Dead") in a new sci-fi thriller titled "Air," which is produced by Reedus’ "Walking Dead" creator, Robert Kirkman.
The *low-budget* (by Hollywood standards) pic is co-written by video game veteran Christian Cantamessa and Chris Pasetto, and directed by Pasetto (his feature film debut).
The plot follows 2 custodial workers – Hounsou and Reedus – as they struggle to maintain their sanity in a cryogenic facility, whose residents are meant to restore society, following a nuclear war.
Sony has set an August 14 release date for the film (in limited theatrical release and on VOD), which Reedus is also executive producing, along with Bailey Conway and Noah Rosen.
