Actor/comedian Craig Robinson (who also producers) and actress Alexandra Shipp co-star in the new horror comedy “Tragedy Girls” which, we learned today, will make its world premiere in the “Midnighters” section of the upcoming SXSW Film Festival in March.

“Tragedy Girls,” directed by Tyler MacIntyre, based on an original screenplay by Justin Olson, is described as a twist on the slasher genre which follows two budding teenage sociopaths who use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small midwestern town into a frenzy, cementing their legacy as modern horror legends.
