'All That,' 'Kenan & Kel' And Another Nickelodeon Classic Are All Coming To Netflix

Netflix is gearing up to give 90s kids some more nostalgia. The streaming giant just announced the addition of Nicekoloden classics Kenan & Kel and the original All That, along with another popular hit.

All will become available to subscribers on June 21. Netflix made the announcement on their Twitter account. The Netflix drop comes as the shows already stream on Paramount+, which is in the Paramount Global family with Nickelodeon.

‘All That’ is considered to be the first teen sketch comedy series

Considered to be the teen version of Saturday Night Live, All That premiered on Nickelodeon in 1994 starring the likes of Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Amanda Bynes, and Lori Beth Denberg. Ironically, Thompson would go on to star on SNL. It grew in popularity due to its inclusion of hip hop and R&B with performers like Brandy and Aaliyah. TLC performed the theme song.

The series featured young stars participating in live sketch comedy sketches and had an original run of 10 seasons, finishing in 2005. The series made a comeback in 2019 with Season 11. It currently sits at a total of 206 episodes.

'Kenan & Kel' was a spinoff of sorts featuring two of ‘All That’s’ biggest stars

Two of the recurring actors on All That were Thompson and Mitchell. Their series, Kenan & Kel, premiered in 1996 and ran until 2000 with four seasons and 65 episodes. The series was set in Chicago and followed the many comedic adventures of the two on-screen friends. Mitchell would later allege that the show ended due to Thompson wanting his own solo success.

The mid-2000s Nick series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide will also land on Netflix along with All That and Kenan & Kel.
