Don’t worry everyone, a song treasured by ’90s babies and everyone else alike is staying intact when All That is revived this month.

Earlier this month, Chance the Rapper uploaded a gospel-tinged remix to the original theme song, which many assumed was the new version for the reboot. However, with Nickelodeon releasing the official opening sequence (perhaps in a preemptive move to avoid confusion), it is clear that the theme song (the main one, at least) will still come from TLC. It is a reworked version that features executive producer and original cast member, Kenan Thompson, giving the opening phrase.

Before the remix was posted on social media, a recent interview from Kel Mitchell actually confirmed the theme song would be staying intact.  “I’m going to say it right here, right now. The song is staying,” he told Cheddar late last month.

Although a soundtrack for the revival hasn’t been officially confirmed, comedian Vena E. Lee teased an All That soundtrack on Instagram and thanked Chance the Rapper for the opportunity, so there is perhaps a chance that you will be able to hear the full version of Chance’s song there if one is released.

Shadow And Act has reached out to Nickelodeon to see whether or not Chance the Rapper’s version will be featured in some capacity on the show or on the soundtrack, but we have not heard back yet.

TLC recorded the original version of the song during recording sessions for their Diamond-certified album, CrazySexyCool.
