Amazon has landed the worldwide rights to a documentary on pop superstar Rihanna, directed by Peter Berg, for a reported $25 million. Berg also directed the “We Found Love” singer in the 2012 action film Battleship, where she portrayed Petty Officer Cora Raikes.

The documentary compiles 1,200 hours of footage, taken over a number of years, to give audiences an exclusive look into Rihanna’s life. The doc will cover various topics, from her relationships to her personality and even her business ventures.

The project was reportedly shopped to multiple distributors, with streamers being the most aggressive. Prior to negotiating the deal with Amazon, Endeavor Content began showing footage in Cannes in May.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news of the acquisition.
