Amazon Prime Video has announced an unprecedented collaboration with Blumhouse Television. Eight genre films produced by Blumhouse and Amazon Studios will be released on the streaming service, which will share the spine-tingling suspense that’s a Blumhouse signature, each film presents a distinctive vision and unique perspective on common themes centered around family and love as redemptive or destructive forces.”

The first four films will be released in October for the holiday season. The other four will be released in 2021. It will launch with The Lie and Black Box on October 6. Evil Eye and Nocturne will drop on October 13. The casts for the films include Black talent Phylicia Rashad, Mamoudou Athie, Jacques Colimon, Tosin Morohunfola and more.

When their teenaged daughter confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception.
