Amber Riley has booked her first film role.
The singer-actress, most known for starring in Fox’s Glee will star alongside Tiffany Haddish, Omari Hardwick, Tika Sumpter and Whoopi Goldberg in the Tyler Perry-directed, The List.
The logline: When her wild sister (Haddish) gets released from prison and re-enters her life, Danica (Sumpter) is forced to accept that she may be getting “catfished” by an online boyfriend whom she has never met in person.
Riley’s role is unknown.
The film already has a fast release date, set for November 2, 2018.
Riley just ended a year in West End’s production of Dreamgirls in the role of Effie White, winning theLaurence Olivier Award for Best Actress.
