nullComing the theaters on May 8 is director Corey Grant’s dramedy-romance, "Sister Code," which is being distributed by GVN Releasing, the indie outfit responsible for the releases of past films we’ve covered on this blog, like "I’m in Love with a Church Girl," and "The Obama Effect."

Starring Amber Rose, Eva Marcille, Drew Sidora, with Marcus Paulk, Erica Ash, Essence Atkins, Asia Monet Ray, Sade Kimora Young, Laya Hayes, and Don Hale, Jr. rounding out the cast, the movie follows the stories of 3 different foster sisters who face a family tragedy with a secret that threatens to tear them apart.

Grant directed the film from a script penned by Randall Hooper and Darien Curry.
