Amirah Vann, who recurred heavily on the fourth season of How to Get Away with Murder, has been promoted to series regular for season 5.

She will continue her role of attorney Tegan Price on the Viola Davis-led Shondaland series at ABC.

This sees her remain at ABC, where she starred in the Regina King/Robin Roberts-produced sister cop drama pilot, The Finestwhich the network passed on.

Vann is the second series regular added for the fifth season, following Rome Flynn, who debuted in the season 4 finale as the mysterious Gabriel Maddox.

How to Get Away with Murder also stars Billy Brown as Detective Nate Lahey, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt, Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone, Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo, Charlie Weber as Frank Delfino, Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom and Conrad Ricamora as Oliver Hampton.
