Anthony Mackie is one of the most booked actors in Hollywood. He stars in the lead role for the second season of Netflix’s sci-fi series, Altered Carbon.

Shadow and Act’s Trey Mangum recently sat down with Mackie and the show’s other cast members about the new season, and the actor also gave us a scoop on what we can expect from his upcoming Disney+ show, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

While calling the Disney+ series an “art piece” in which fans will get to see more facets to Sam Wilson, Mackie also called playing the character, who is now Captain America, “a daunting task.”

“I think at this day and age in America, I think we are open-minded to the idea of having my face represent us as a country, my race represent us as a country because we are truly a melting pot,” he said. “So there is no distinctive look or feel or design of an American–we’re all Americans…I want my Captain America to represent everybody, not just a specific group of people.”
