'Anything's Possible' Trailer: Billy Porter's Directorial Debut About A Gen Z, Coming-Of-Age Romance

Billy Porter’s new film Anything’s Possible is coming to Prime Video and the trailer has dropped for the Gen Z romance that centers a trans teen.

The film tells the story of Kelsa, “a confident high school girl who is trans, as she navigates through senior year.” According to an official description, Kelsa’s classmate Khal posts about his crush on her online, leading him to muster up the courage to ask her out despite the drama he knows it could cause. Kelsa is a transgender teen, making this a rare, major film with this sort of representation.

Anything’s Possible marks Porter’s directorial debut and is also from MGM’s Orion Pictures.

1. The film's cast includes Eva Reign, Abubakr Ali and 'Girls5eva' star Renée Elise Goldsberry.

It was previously reported that Billy Porter had cast Yasmin Finney to play the role of Kelsa.

For unknown reasons, she was replaced in the lead role and has gone on to star in Netflix’s cult hit, Heartstopper, which just got renewed for two more seasons after its splashy freshman year.

The film is written by Ximena García Lecuona with Christine Vachon, David Hinojosa, D.J. Gugenheim, and Andrew Lauren producing.
