nullAuthor and spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant has made quite the comeback in the last two years.  First, she released a new book, Peace From Broken Pieces, that landed her back on the New York Times bestsellers list.  Then, she publicly reconciled with the queen of media…Oprah Winfrey.  Well that reconciliation has paid off well garnering Iyanla not only an appearance on Oprah's Life Class program but her own self-help show on the OWN network as well.

The production, currently titled Iyana Fix My Life, has been in development for awhile now and Iyana just released this statement – via Facebook – conveying her appreciation for the opportunity along with when it will air:

"…After much prayer and conscious consideration I am choosing to move forward with this project as my next step in service to the world. I am so humbled and grateful to have this opportunity to do what I love; on a network that gives me the freedom to be myself; working with people who value what I bring to the table; offering to the people I love (that would be you) a consistent dose of something I believe will facilitate and support the personal growth and spiritual evolution of individuals, families and communities. Enjoy as I share this part of the journey with you. I invite you to join me on OWN when the show airs later this year. We'll let you know as soon as we have an idea of when that will be! Love, Iyanla "

This will mark a return to television for Iyanla who previously had a brief run as a talk show host back in 2001 with her Barbara Walters produced show Iyanla

She later briefly appeared on the Emmy-winning reality show Starting Over.
