The Wonderful World of Disney and ABC have released the first look of its upcoming Beauty and The Beast special starring H.E.R. and Josh Groban.

The two-hour animated and live-action special, titled Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration, will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the beloved Disney classic “showcase the fan-favorite movie along with new never-before-seen musical performances, brand-new sets and breathtaking costumes inspired by the classic story.”

Grammy Award-winning R&B songstress H.E.R and Groban, who respectively channel Belle and the Beast in the photos.

Aside from H.E.R. and Groban, the special will also star Rita Moreno as the narrator, Joshua Henry as Gaston, Martin Short as Lumière, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, Rizwan Manji as LeFou, Jon Jon Briones as Maurice, Leo Abelo Perry as Chip and Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts.

The special will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and executive produced by In The Heights helmer John. M. Chu. 

Released in 1991, Beauty and the Beast grossed $331 million at the box office worldwide on a $25 million budget and was the first animated film to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. A live-action adaptation of the film, starring Emma Watson, was released in 2017.

Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration airs Thursday, December 15 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC and will be available the next day on Disney+.
