'Bigger' Won't Return For A Third Season On BET+

BET’s critically-acclaimed comedy series Bigger is coming to an end after two seasons. Creator and showrunner Felischa Marye confirmed the news on Twitter.

'Bigger' showrunner's statement

We’re sad to announce that #BiggerOnBet will not get a third season. We know, we know,” she wrote. “We can’t believe it either, but want to say to thanks to our #BiggerSeries Hive for being such loyal and passionate fans,” she tweeted. “We wanted to give audiences a hardcore funny comedy with a big heart, and our fans were there for it, so we thank you! We had a lovely dinner last week to end the year, while ending such a special show.”

Marye also thanked her cast and crew, BET and executive producers Devon Shepard and Will Packer for giving her the opportunity.

Where 'Bigger' left off:

Bigger, which told the story of a group of thirty-somethings in Atlanta, ended in a cliffhanger with two characters getting secretly married and they haven’t told their friend group the news. The show would have followed the fallout from the cliffhanger if the series was able to make a third season.

The series starred Chase Anthony, Tanisha Long, Tristen J. Winger, Angel Conwell, Rasheda Crockett. Angela Ko, Bechir Sylvain, Alyssa Brooke, and Warren Burke returned as recurring guest stars for season 2 and other guest stars for the season included Tori Spelling, Jasmine Guy, Christopher “Play” Martin, Eva Marcille, Devale Ellis, Toccara, Karlie Redd, Debbie Morgan, Curtis Washington, Charmin Lee, Alexa Rachelle Jennings.

You can stream Bigger in its entirety on BET+.
