BET Networks joined President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House last month for a star-studded musical celebration, “BET Presents Love & Happiness: An Obama Celebration,” playfully dubbed ‘Barack Obama’s Block Party.’
Hosted by Terrence J and Regina Hall, “BET Presents Love & Happiness: An Obama Celebration” featured performances by Usher, Common, Janelle Monae, Leslie Odom Jr., The Roots, De La Soul, Jill Scott, Yolanda Adams, Bell Biv DeVoe, Michelle Williams and Kiki Sheard. Superstars Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, Bradley Cooper and Jesse Williams also joined in the festivities sharing poignant and personal thoughts about President Obama and what his legacy has meant to them.
