Shadow and Act has learned that ABC’s Big Sky has received a full-season order at the network. Six more episodes have been added to its tally, bringing the first season to 16 episodes in total.

From David E. Kelley and based on the book series by C.J. Box, the series follows private detective Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) and ex-cop Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick), who join forces to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.

The show is executive produced by David E. Kelley, Ross Fineman, Matthew Gross, Paul McGuigan, C.J. Box and Gwyneth Horder-Payton. The series is produced by 20th Television in association with A+E Studios. 20th Television is a part of Disney Television Studios, alongside ABC Signature.

New episodes air weekly on Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
