The speculation surrounding Donald Glover and Rihanna’s mysterious Guava Island project can be put to rest. According to MTV, the film will air during YouTube’s Coachella livestream.

The news comes after eagle-eyed fans found several Spotify ads promoting Guava Island for an April 13 release date. That date would put it square in the middle of Glover’s Coachella set (where he’ll perform under his pseudonym, Childish Gambino).

IMDB has also given us a logline for the film. Called a “tropical thriller,” Glover plays “a musician with designs on pulling off a scheme to rob his way into the good life, which quickly gets him in over his head.”

The film also stars Letitia Wright and Nonso Anonzie and is directed by Glover’s Atlanta collaborator Hiro Murai. The trailer for the film was released last year at Glover’s PHAROS Festival in New Zealand, which gave hints of the film’s gorgeous visuals and Glover’s Lando Calrissian-esque accent.

In short, Guava Island seems like yet another of Glover’s creative projects that will have us talking for months to come.
