BET has announced the linear television premiere of the acclaimed BET+ original series, Bigger. Executive produced by Will Packer and Devon K. Shepard, the show will air weekly on BET starting Wednesday, Jan. 27, ahead of the show’s season two debut, which is set for this year on BET+.

Created by Felischa Marye, the series stars Tanisha Long (Layne Roberts), Angell Conwell (Veronica Yates), Rasheda Crockett (Tracey Davis), Chase Anthony (Deon Randall) and Tristen Winger (Vince Carpenter).

According to the network, the comedy “follows a single-black-woman who is dealing with the threat of marriage to a boring-in-bed boyfriend and the sudden, random death of a college acquaintance. The tragedy drives her ambitious group of friends to take a deeper look at their stagnant lives, asking themselves— is there something ‘bigger’ and better in life.”

All episodes of the first season are now streaming on BET+.
