The 100th episode of Black-ish will be dedicated to The Purple One himself, Prince.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode “will feature a special tribute to Prince and his impact on the Johnson family.” The episode will also have “a big musical component.”
ABC released a first look image from the episode via Black-ish‘s Instagram page featuring Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson in their best Prince attire. The episode will air this November.
This episode will be the series’ second musical episode; the series has already honored Broadway juggernaut Hamilton with a musical season 4 premiere celebrating Juneteenth. That episode also featured an animated spot inspired by Schoolhouse Rock!
