Kevin Feige told Comicbook.com, “We’re shooting ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ right now, and the character of Riri Williams, you will meet in ‘Black Panther 2’ first. She started shooting, I think, this week before her ‘Ironheart’ series.”

Thorne is a relative newcomer who appeared in If Beale Street Could Talk and made a big splash in Oscar nominee Judas and the Black Messiah.

The Ironheart series follows Williams, a “genius inventor” and “the creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.”

Chinaka Hodge has been tapped as the Head Writer(showrunner). Ironheart will join the current Marvel series at Disney+, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye and Secret Invasion.

Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever currently filming in Atlanta. The film also stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Michaela Coel and Angela Bassett.
