'Black Panther' Gets Touching New Marvel Intro On Disney+ To Honor Chadwick Boseman

Black Panther fans got a treat this Thanksgiving weekend when the film was updated on Disney+ with a special intro honoring Chadwick Boseman.

The intro, which features scenes of Boseman in character as T’Challa, was created in time for what would have been Boseman’s 44th birthday Nov. 29. Marvel Studios posted the intro on Twitter with the caption, “Long live the King. #WakandaForever.”

The new intro quickly caused fans to give an outpouring of love and lingering grief over the loss of Boseman, who died this August of colon cancer.

Black Panther 2 is expected to start filming in July 2021.
