The sequel to the beloved 2018 box office and cultural smash Black Panther is finally out and fans are flocking to theaters to see how Chadwick Boseman is tributed. But there’s one scene that reveals a major secret.
T’Challa’s legacy lives on
The end credits scene begins with Shuri traveling to Haiti to visit Nakia. She finally gets a chance to grieve the loss of both her mother and brother and deal with her immense grief. Shuri is on the beach when Nakia walks up to her with a little boy beside her and introduces her to Toussaint.
Nakia and T'Challa's son is played by Divine Love Konadu-Sun
“This is my son,” she tells Shuri, adding to her son, “This is your auntie, Shuri.”
It hits Shuri that Toussaint is T’Challa’s son.
Nakia reveals that she and T’Challa agreed to raise their son in Haiti “away from the pressure” of the kingdom.

Toussaint tells Nakia that is first name is actually T'Challa
Setting up that T’Challa had a son means that Toussaint could one day take on the Black Panther mantle himself.
