Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers ahead

So…what was that on Game of Thrones?

Basically, a lot happened Sunday night and it left a bad taste in many fans’ mouths. A whole lot of characters died and if you ask some fans, a whole lot of character development and seasons’ worth of world-building died as well.

In the penultimate episode of the entire series, now-Mad Queen-level Dany (Emilia Clarke) orders Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) to destroy King’s Landing. Arya (Maisie Williams) almost-kills Cersei (Lena Headey). Not to mention, Dany had Varys (Conleth Hill) offed before the events at King’s Landing. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) begs her to call off the plan if the bells ring at King’s Landing, but to put it lightly, she’s not here for that. When the time comes, she uses Drogon to burn everything and she’s seemingly pleased. In the midst of coming up with a plan, Euron (Pilou Asbæk) stabs Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), followed by Jaime stabbing Euron, fatally. Arya almost-dies like 500 times and somehow makes it out. Cersei and Jaime have the softest deaths ever, perishing to little fanfare.
