Comedian Jerrod Carmichael is listening to Black women’s points of view on all manner of social topics in his upcoming HBO special Home Videos.

The latest promo from the special finds Carmichael in a kitchen, fielding opinions on interracial dating.

An earlier promo was released in late April, this time focusing on social media activism and the act of listening to Black women.

The poster for the film also features a gaze at the female perspective. In the image, Carmichael holds a little girl, which could indicate that this means Carmichael wants to make sure that what he is learning from the women around him becomes like second nature for him, since he might want to be aware of what challenges and expectations the next generation of women might have to face.

Not much else regarding the special has been released, but judging by the two promos, it’s clear that Carmichael is interested in what the Black women in his life have to say about the world and their places in it.

The special will air on Mother’s Day, May 12 at 7 p.m. ET, an apt day for a special celebrating women’s voices.
