Brandy is like all of us who are waiting on Disney+ to finally add Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella to their collection of films.

The B7 singer talked about her irritation with Disney+ to Rolling Stone in July. “I absolutely don’t have any insight into that! I have no idea why [it isn’t] on Disney+. It should [be] on there because it’s Whitney Houston alone. You know what I mean? All by itself just because it’s Whitney Houston. So, I don’t know.”

“But I mean Double Platinum, the movie that I did with Diana Ross, was just released on Netflix,” she continued. “That’s hope that maybe Disney can come on up and scoop up Cinderella. That would be awesome, I would love that.”

Brandy’s turn as Cinderella debuted in 1997 as part of The Wonderful World of Disney TV movie series. The cast included Houston as the fairy godmother along with Whoopi Goldberg and B.A.P.S. star Natalie Desselle Reid. The other mand and supporting members of the cast included Broadway legend Bernadette Peters, Veanne Cox, Jason Alexander, Victor Garber and Paolo Montalban as the prince.
