Brandy‘s camp shared she’s been working on her next music project, a Christmas album, and it could be released as soon as this year.

Fans of the “Vocal Bible” clutched their pearls in excitement after A&R executive Jaha Johnson shared the news in an Instagram story posted on Sept. 13. The clip, filmed in a recording studio, showed a whiteboard with Brandy’s name in all caps above what appeared to be a tracklist with the words, “One of my favorite things to do is sequence the album. Christmas will Never be the same! A Brandy Christmas!”

The Moesha star’s manager, Ryan Ramsey, was also seen in the video adjusting the tracklist’s order, which had 11 slots. During the recording, several song titles were revealed, including seemingly original tunes like “Feels Different” and “Celebrate My Baby,” as well as covers of beloved standards like “Silent Night” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” Halfway through, a snippet of Brandy’s rendition of “This Christmas” played in the background.

This will mark Brandy’s first release since 2020’s B7. According to Vibe, there’s speculation that the Grammy winner‘s holiday music is tied to her role in the upcoming Netflix movie titled, Best. Christmas. Ever. In March, the mother shared a screenshot of the Deadline article disclosing the news. She captioned it, “Get ready for the Best Christmas Ever ♥️ I’m so excited to join this phenomenal cast for this special holiday film coming soon to @netflix🎁 slide for the vibes 🙏🏽♠️🎼🎵🎶.”

Netlfix’s Best. Christmas. Ever. is slated for a Dec. 16 release. We’re already counting down the days!
