Director Corey Grant’s thriller “Illicit,” which next screens at the ongoing Pan African Film Festival, followed by the Toronto Black Film Festival which kicks off next week, has been picked up by Breaking Glass films for release in the USA/

The film, which world premiered at the American Black Film Festival last year, stars David Ramsey, Vivica A Fox and Dean Cain in a story about a police officer and his model wife who find themselves entangled in a world of secrets, sex, and lies that threaten to tear their marriage apart.

McKinley Freeman, Shireen Crutchfield and Essence Atkins, also co-star.

Breaking Glass Pictures plans a limited theatrical release in Chicago and Atlanta in early May, which will be followed by a DVD/VOD release on May 23.

Richard Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass and Amanda Rae Simon negotiated the deal with Todd Slater of Blue Fox Entertainment.
