It has been announced that Djimon Hounsou will replace Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry in A Quiet Place Part II, the highly anticipated sequel to the original.

Atlanta star Henry, who gave acclaimed performances recently in Widows and If Beale Street Could Talk, reportedly exited the project over scheduling issues.

Hounsou, who appeared recently in films such as Shazam, earned Academy Award nominations for his work in In America and Blood Diamond.

The sequel is directed by the director and star of the first film John Krasinski. His real-life and on-screen wife, Emily Blunt, returns to lead this film alongside Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. The first film followed a family of four who must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival.

A Quiet Place Part II will be released by Paramount March 20, 2020.

Deadline first reported this news.
