Call For Entries: 2014 Pan African Film Festival

nullEntering its 22nd year, the Pan African Film Festival is now accepting submissions of independent features, shorts, narratives and documentary films made by or about people of African descent. The 2014 festival is scheduled for February 6-17 in Los Angeles.

PAFF boasts itself at the nation’s largest black film festival, this year presenting 154 films representing 34 countries. The festival was founded in 1992 by actor Danny Glover, actress Ja’Net DuBois and legal and political consultant Ayuko Babu.

Also kicking off this week, PAFF will present a three-day film series at the National Black Arts Festival (NBAF). The PAFF film series takes place July 18-20, 2013 at the Southwest Arts Center in Atlanta. From its vaults, PAFF will present 18 films as a part of NBAF’s 25th anniversary.
