Don’t call it a comeback! Cameron Diaz is coming out of her retirement from acting to star in a Netflix action film with Jamie Foxx.

No plot details are known as of yet, it is only known that Seth Gordon will direct the film from a script by Brendan O’Brien.

Beau Bauman is under Good One Productions, as is Gordon for Exhibit A. Foxx, Datari Turner, O’Brien and Mark McNair also exec produce.

Foxx teased the film and Diaz's casting on Twitter

He posted audio of a conversation he had with Diaz and Tom Brady.

“I don’t know how to do this, you know?” says Diaz of ‘unretiring.’

“I was talking to Jamie, and he said you needed a few tips on how to unretire. And I am relatively successful and unretiring,” said Brady.

Diaz then wrote on her Instagram story, "Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!! I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!”

One of the biggest film stars of the late 1990s and 2000s, Diaz’s last role was in 2014’s Annie.

This will be the third Diaz-Foxx project, as they both starred in Annie 1999’s Any Given Sunday.
