Cardi B heads to 'Baby Shark'

The Grammy Award-winning superstar is getting animated for a brand new episode of Nickelodeon’s hit preschool series Baby Shark’s Big Show! Cardi B will lend her voice to an animated character, rap icon “Sharki B,” in “The Seaweed Sway,” which premieres Friday, April 15, at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

In addition to Cardi B, the episode will also feature guest appearances from her husband, Migos rapper Offset, and their 3-year-old daughter Kulture. Offset will voice the character “Offshark” while Kulture appears as “Kulture Shark.”

Here’s an official description of the episode.

Baby Shark and William meet the ferociously fun rap icon Sharki B, who is swimming into Carnivore Cove to perform her splash hit dance craze, The Seaweed Sway. Sharki asks Baby Shark and William to show her around town before her big concert and perform The Seaweed Sway with her on stage that night. As hard as William tries, he keeps messing up the final move of the dance. Luckily, thanks to the help of his friends and his musical icon Sharki, William learns that the true secret to great dancing is doing it his own unique way.

According to an official description, Sharki B is “the biggest star in the seven seas–flashy, awe-inspiring, and ruthlessly fun–but always 100% herself and fin-spires other fishies to do the same,” much like the multiplatinum superstar.

'City on a Hill' season 3 trailer

Showtime has announced the new season of the acclaimed Boston drama series City on the Hill. The show stars Emmy nominee Kevin Bacon and Screen Actors Guild award winner Aldis Hodge.

Season 3 of the series will premiere on Sunday, July 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and luckily for fans, Showtime has released the first official trailer for the upcoming season.

Here’s an official description of the new season:

Season three of CITY ON A HILL brings us to Boston’s high society Beacon Hill. Having left the FBI and thrown his badge into Boston Harbor, Jackie Rohr (Bacon) lands a lavish new gig running security for a wealthy family. Life is good until secrets begin to unravel. When an investigation opens, ADA Decourcy Ward (Hodge) sees an opportunity to finally rip out the machinery perpetuating a broken criminal justice system. Siobhan Quays (Banks), representing a construction worker who was severely injured on the Big Dig, encounters the city’s corruption firsthand, all while coping with the traumatic events of her past year. As Jenny Rohr (Jill Hennessy) can attest, given her history with her father, some experiences will haunt you beyond your breaking point.
