The Carmichael Show's Amber Stevens West to star in FOX's 'Ghosted'

The Carmichael Show cast is wasting no time getting booked after the show was recently canceled by NBC.

According to TVLine, its female lead, Amber Stevens West, has been cast as a series regular on FOX’s upcoming show, Ghosted.  She joins the previously announced cast members, Craig Robinson, Adam Scott and Naomi Scott (Saban’s Power Rangers).  West’s role was originally played by Edi Patterson in the pilot.

The series will two people (Robinson and Scott) who will investigate “unexplained phenomena” in Los Angeles, while uncovering a mystery that could threaten the human race.

West will portray Annie, a tech and weapons specialist described as “down to earth” and excited about designing weapons as much as she is excited about “hanging with her dog, drinking cheap rosé and watching the latest hit TV series.”

Ghosted is set to premiere on FOX, October 1st at 8:30 p.m.

Before The Carmichael Show, Stevens West notably co-starred in Freeform (then ABC Family)’s Greek
