'Castle Rock' Gets Early Season 2 Renewal At Hulu, Will Likely Feature New Cast

Hulu has announced their Stephen King series, Castle Rock has been renewed for a Season 2.

This comes at the midway point of the first season, toplined by Andre Holland.

It has been stated from the jump that the series would likely have an anthology format, so it’s no surprise that it is expected for a new cast to headline the new season.

The series, a psychological-horror titled Castle Rock, is named after the fictional town in King’s native Maine which has served as the setting for a number of his novels, novellas and short stories. The series will explore the themes and worlds uniting King’s entire canon, while incorporating some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

André Holland toplines the first season, playing Henry, a death row attorney with a unique and complicated history in Castle Rock, Maine. It also stars Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Scott Glenn and Terry O’Quinn.
