'Central Park' Episode Features Powerful Song Breaking Down Racial Profiling Sung By Leslie Odom Jr. [Exclusive]

Apple TV+s Central Park is known for giving viewers a few laughs, but the latest episode features a serious topic that many families of color deal with today.

The Season 3 episode begins with Cole (voiced by Titus Burgess) breaking out in a song about waking up and getting ready for his Saturday.

While he is dancing around Central Park, a woman is scared by Cole, who is waving a wooden sword. The woman expresses that she felt threatened by Cole.

Although Cole’s father Owen (Leslie Odom Jr.) stands up to the lady, he knows that he will have to talk with his son about the situation, which prompts him to break out into a powerful and moving song about the realities of being Black in today’s society.
