Fans and family members of the late Chadwick Boseman are still feeling the pain of losing the Black Panther actor. Boseman lost his battle with colon cancer in 2020, leaving his wife Simone Ledward Boseman. The actor stared in many record-breaking and high-grossing films. Though he did not have a will at the time of his death, his widow and parents will split his fortune, per Radar Online.

Boseman was married to his wife for before he passed away from colon cancer.

They began dating before he was diagnosed and secretly wed before his death. Boseman was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016 and fought the battle privately until his passing in 2020.

Boseman also left behind his parents Leroy and Carolyn Boseman and two brothers Kevin Boseman and Derrick Boseman. At the time of his death, he didn’t have a will. His widow was appointed the representative with limited authority over his estate.

Ledward-Boseman filed accounting documents inventorying all the residuals that have been taken in since the death of her husband.

After all the bills from his estate are paid, the amount of his estate will be $2.3 million, Radar Online reports.

Boseman’s widow wants the court to approve an equal distribution of his estate. 50% will go to her and the other half will go to his parents.
