"American Promise"

We have certainly been fully-covering the new documentary American Promise, and, no doubt, it’s
because it’s one of the most important documentaries of the year.

Zeba Blay has already reviewed the film for us last week
(HERE) and the film is currently playing in New York, and opens today in Los Angeles, before its national theatrical roll-out (HERE).

Now the dates for the Chicago screenings are set. The
film will play next month at the Gene
Siskel Film Center
in downtown Chicago, from November 22 to 27, twice
a day, with three showings on Saturday
Nov. 23rd
at 2PM, 5PM and 8PM.

Even better, the directors of the film – Joe Brewster and Michele Stephenson – will be present for an audience discussion at
all the Friday and Saturday showings, and at the Sunday 2pm screening.
