The Wachowski's and Tom Tykwer's sci-fi film Cloud Atlas with Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant and Keith David, which Warners Bros will release on Dec 6, has recieved an "R" rating from the MPAA for "violence, language, sexuality/nudity and some drug use."
Of course, speaking as a guy, one hopes that the "sexuality" and "nudity" reffered to is thanks to Halle, but, just our luck, it'll be Hanks.
No one yet really has a clear idea of what the film is about, except it's about "six stories set in different times and places that become intricately related to each other."
But the film will have its time to explain it all since the running time is a reported 164 minutes. Originally, the filmmakers were contracted by Warners not to bring in a film no longer than 2 and half hours, but the studio gave in.
