Craig Robinson and “Parks and Rec” star Adam Scott have teamed up for a potential Fox TV series which the network has given a pilot order for.

Titled “Ghosted,” the comedy is described as a comedic take on the “X-Files” that focuses on Robinson as a cynical skeptic and Scott as a “true believer” in the paranormal, who are both recruited by an agency known as The Bureau Underground to investigate rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles – all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.

“That Awkward Moment‘s” Tom Gormican will write, as well as executive producer with Robinson, Scott, Naomi Scott, and 3 Arts’ Mark Schulman and Oly Obst. Kevin Etten will executive produce and act as showrunner.

The project reunites Scott and Robinson who previously starred together in the feature comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine 2.”

It reads similar to the TBS series that Wyatt Cenac stars in titled “People of Earth” about a support group for alien abductees. and the skeptical journalist (Wyatt Cenac) who goes undercover to investigate them.

Robinson is currently hosting a series on Spike TV called “Caraoke Showdown.”
