Robyn Hood

A fresh, modern take on the succubus folklore merged with an inside joke in Black culture, Robyn Hood follows Qaseem, a millennial man who is healing from a break up until he is allured by a mysterious and intense woman. who has only one interest – to steal his hoodie. Starring Snowfall actress Gail Bean, Robyn Hood was written and executive produced by Shayla Racquel of Shayla Racquel Films, directed by Janeen Talbott and produced by Moon Ferguson, the creator of Juju: The Webseries – under her production banner, Filled With Magic Productions. RISK

A 5-episode series spin-off of the short film of the same name, Risk follows three black 30-something queer men navigating life’s complexities in Houston, Texas. Created by Alscott Worrell, Risk was created to challenge the perception of Black queer men in mainstream media. Donate to its IndieGogo campaign here

BLACK BUTTERFLIES

Written by Tamara S. Hall, Black Butterflies tackles the horrifying maternal mortality disparity amongst Black woman, while showcasing the vulnerability and love of Black women. Black Butterflies follows a woman becomes haunted by her sister’s ailing health, she enters a real-life nightmare and must fight to be heard as her condition deteriorates.
