Recently on the red carpet for Denzel Washington‘s new film A Journal for Jordan, Washington was asked about Damon Idris, who has risen in fame due to his starring role in FX’s Snowfall and who is compared to Washington.

Unfortunately, Washington apparently did not know who the young actor was, but that didn’t stop Idris from responding in a funny way.
